Southern Vipers v South East Stars

Ageas Bowl, Southampton

Wednesday 13th September 10.30am

South East Stars have the momentum in their hands after a huge win at the weekend against the Blaze. In similar fashion, the Vipers continue to impress with three wins on the bounce. It’s likely to be a close, exciting game and with the sides potentially set to meet in the eliminator, it will be good opportunity for both teams to figure each other out.

The Blaze v Sunrisers

Haslegrave, Loughborough

Wednesday 13th September 10.30am

For the first time The Blaze and the Sunrisers face each other when the Blaze are coming off a huge defeat and the latter are enjoying two wins on the trot! With a new captain, the Sunrisers seem guided and inspired and with The Blaze having qualified already for the latter stages, they must not lose momentum.

It’s women’s cricket heritage as the Blaze return to Loughborough University to play at Haslegrave, their former purple and pink home!

Thunder v Northern Diamonds

Sale CC, Sale

Wednesday 13th September 10.30am

An age-old battle between the Lancastrians and the Yorkists will commence once again. Ideally, less blood will be drawn and all 22 players will keep their heads but it’s going to be a competitive match.

Thunder have been quite impressive in the back end of the season. After a slow start, their bowling has been much more accurate but the Northern Diamonds have a batting line up which can stump any side.

Western Storm v Central Sparks

County Ground, Taunton

Wednesday 13th September 10.30am

It hasn’t been a great season for the Western Storm and are slipping further away at the bottom of the table. Central Sparks have had such a mixed bag of results and their chances of qualification are getting slimmer.

Western Storm cannot now qualify for the latter stages meaning they truly have nothing to lose but Sparks need a big win over the Storm if they fancy progressing.
