Get to know the father-daughter duo Richard & Polly Starkie, the voices behind the Noughtie Child Podcast
Polly is the daughter of the duo and has recently moved to Manchester to start studying Multimedia Journalism. Her love for Women's Cricket started in 2017, watching England win the World Cup Final at Lords. Since then, she has regularly commentated on regional cricket, has previously worked with Central Sparks running their social media and regularly writes for a number of outlets. Polly also works in football, balancing the two sports.

Polly Starkie
Richard is the father of the duo and a lifelong cricket fan. By profession, he is a secondary school languages teacher and is always up for talking about cricket. Growing up in Lancashire, he spent many sunny...and probably rainy days at Old Trafford and has passed on his love of cricket to his children, especially podcast co-host, Polly.
